Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987, is an American actor and comedian. She was an Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. Since then she has been a part of the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as on the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of comedian and actor Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City, the second child of the couple. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent coordinator and Chris Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her father was radio comic Bob Elliott. Her sister, who is younger than her, is an actress Bridey Elliott. Both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She was a student at Immaculate High School Danbury where she was a part of musicals and school plays. After graduation from Immaculate High School in 2005 She enrolled in Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but quit during her first semester .In 2010, Elliott dated her fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. The pair broke up in September 2011. On September 3 in 2016, Elliott was married on September 3, 2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer. Edith Pepper Kennedy is their daughter. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began to perform and train in various sketch comedy shows in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
